Dr. Agronin is an expert in adult and geriatric psychiatry, Alzheimer’s disease, and other dementia types. His research includes Alzheimer's disease, and agitation and psychosis associated with dementia. In addition to his roles at Miami Jewish Health Systems and Miller School of Medicine, he is also an attending psychiatrist at the VA Nursing Home in Pembroke Pines, FL and at Golden Palms, a residence for older individuals with chronic schizophrenia and bipolar disorder in North Miami, FL.
Dr. Agronin has given more than 100 lectures nationally on topics in geriatric psychiatry, which include several presentations to the U.S. Psychiatric Congress. He has also been named Clinician of the Year by the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Agronin is frequently interviewed for his expertise in geriatric psychiatry, dementia, and Alzheimer’s disease. Such interviews include The Carlat Report on Psychiatric Treatment, PBS, and NBC’s South Florida Today Show.
Dr. Agronin has authored articles for the New York Times and Scientific American Mind, nearly 100 scholarly journal articles, and several books including Alzheimer Disease and Related Dementias: A Practical Guide, 2nd Edition and Therapy with Older Clients: Key Strategies for Success. Dr. Chang is a renowned expert in pediatric psychopharmacology and treatment of depression and bipolar disorder in children and adolescents. His research includes brain imaging, genetics, and medication and psychotherapy trials.
Dr. Chang is the recipient of the 2003 American Psychiatric Association/AstraZeneca Young Minds in Psychiatry Award. He has been honored with the Eli Lilly Pilot Research Award from the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Depression. Dr. Chang has also received two NARSAD Young Investigator Awards, a 5-year Career Development Award from the National Institutes of Health, and an RO1 award to study the genetics and brain functioning of children at high risk for bipolar disorder development.
Dr. Chang has authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on bipolar disorder and is frequently invited to present at national and international scientific conferences and meetings. He has provided his expertise to the PBS FRONTLINE program “The Medicated Child” and on abcNews.com OnCall+ Bipolar Disorder Center.

For more than 20 years, Dr. Cohen has been actively engaged in research, teaching, and clinical care related to psychiatric disorders throughout the female reproductive lifecycle. After completing a chief residency in psychiatry, he founded the Perinatal and Reproductive Psychiatry Clinical Research Program, where he serves as Director. Along with colleagues in the Perinatal Program, Dr. Cohen helped to create and maintain the Perinatal Information Resource Center at www.womensmentalhealth.org.
Dr. Cohen has given more than 200 lectures nationally and internationally on issues in women’s mental health, as well as chairing numerous symposia. He also has experience in directing continuing medical education courses in the area of reproductive psychiatry.
Dr. Cohen has also shared his expertise through the authorship of more than 100 peer-reviewed articles and 30 book chapters. Dr. Douaihy is a practicing psychiatrist and lecturer on substance use disorders and HIV psychiatry. His publications and research focus on dual diagnosis/patient recovery guides and HIV psychiatry, including National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) and National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) clinical research projects on substance use disorders and dual diagnosis.

Dr. Ketter's research includes the use of brain imaging methods to understand the neurobiology of mood disorders and explore the possibility of using these techniques to more effectively target treatments for patients with bipolar disorders. Dr. Ketter has received many honors including the Independent Investigator Award from the National Alliance for Research in Schizophrenia and Depression and the Outstanding Faculty Physician Award at Stanford University. He is also a Distinguished Fellow with the American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Krasuski spent three years as a Senior Staff Fellow at the National Institute on Aging, NIH, where he did research in the neuroimaging of dementing disorders. Dr. Mago specializes in the evaluation and pharmacological treatment of mood disorders and conducts clinical trials of pharmacological treatments for mood disorders. His areas of research include the prevention and treatment of antidepressant adverse effects.
Dr. Mago has given many lectures and Grand Rounds at hospitals and major universities across the country. He recently received the Nancy CA Roeske Certificate of Recognition for Excellence in Medical Student Education from the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Nemeroff is a leading expert in the field of psychiatry. Over the last 30 years, Dr. Nemeroff has participated in more than 800 invited lectures on topics such as the neurobiology of depression and anxiety, psychopharmacology, and the neurobiology of child abuse.
Dr. Nemeroff, a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, is actively involved with numerous associations. He is a past president of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology and the American College of Psychiatrists.
