Dr. Krasuski spent three years as a Senior Staff Fellow at the National Institute on Aging, NIH, where he did research in the neuroimaging of dementing disorders. Currently, he spends most of his time lecturing to thousands of physicians yearly on psychiatric topics. He is known for his ability to clearly explain complex and little understood topics.

Dr. Milena Armani was born and raised in Brazil and earned her medical degree from the University of Sao Paulo, the largest University in Brazil and one of the most prestigious higher education and research institutions in Latin America. She has lived in the United States for over a decade and is fluent in English and Portuguese. She completed her residency training in general psychiatry at the University of Kansas and finished her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Emory University, where she served as a chief resident. Dr. Armani is board certified in child, adolescent, and general psychiatry. She has also earned certifications in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). Dr. Armani's clinical work focuses on the treatment of ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), mood disorders and anxiety disorders in children, adolescents, and young adults.

Dr. Karen Hartwell is an Associate Professor in the Addiction Sciences Division in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Medical University of South Carolina.   Dr. Hartwell has extensive clinical experience as a general and addiction psychiatrist in the treatment of substance use disorders with/without comorbid psychiatric disorders.  She was the Medical Director of the Substance Treatment and Recovery Program at the Ralph H Johnson VAMC until 2019 and treated veterans with multiple substance use disorders including opioids, alcohol, and stimulants, among others.  She is now leading several initiatives to address the opioid epidemic including becoming the medical director of MUSC's Project ECHO Opioid Use Disorder.  Dr. Hartwell in unusual in that she made a mid-life career change and returned to academics to complete a fellowship in addiction psychiatry to better address the substance use disorders that commonly co-occur with psychiatric disorders.  Her research career has focused on understanding the underlying neurobiology and improving treatment outcomes.  She has collaborated on variety of research studies involving opioids, cocaine, cannabis, alcohol, and tobacco use disorders. She has been involved multiple clinical trials including multisite trials, ranging from Phase 2 to Phase 4, investigating a variety of pharmacotherapeutic agents and TMS.

Kristopher Kaliebe, MD is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at University of South Florida (USF). He is Board Certified in Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. He is a Distinguished Fellow and serves as co-chair of the Media Committee at the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP). Dr. Kaliebe is the (AACAP) Liaison to the American Academy of Pediatrics Council on Communications and Media. His primary clinical work has been in Federally Qualified Health Centers and Juvenile Corrections. Since 2016, Dr. Kaliebe has helped start and maintain yoga programs within the correctional centers where he works. Dr. Kaliebe has extensive training in psychotherapy, including trauma focused therapies. He has been named a Best Doctor annually since 2008. At USF, he instructs medical students, psychiatry residents and child and adolescent psychiatry fellows and forensic psychiatry fellows. He has created a medical student colloquium (elective) called Mind Body Medicine. Dr Kaliebe has helped USF Psychiatry start a special training track in Integrative Psychiatry in Association with the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr Kaliebe's publications and presentations include on the effect of digital technologies on mental health, Mind Body Medicine, working in Primary Care settings and preventing over diagnosis and over-treatment. Dr Kaliebe tries to stay consistent with his yoga practice. He resides in Tampa.

Christopher G. Pelic, M.D. is a Tenured Professor of Psychiatry at MUSC serving as Director of Telepsychiatry and Health, Wellness, and Human Performance I.C.C.E. Chief. Dr. Pelic has over 14 years of experience in medical education. Previously he served as the Clinical Director of Medical Education for all VA hospitals with a special emphasis on Graduate Medical Education (GME), and the Veterans Access, Choice, and Accountability (VACAA) initiative. In the past he has served as an Associate Dean of Student Affairs and Career Planning for 7 years and psychiatry clerkship director for medical students. His clinical care at MUSC consists of seeing Clemson students via telepsychiatry and doing inpatient telepsychiatry hospital consults. His work with Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation in Veterans has gained national attention. Dr. Pelic is a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at MUSC.

Dr. Mai Uchida is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and Director of Pediatric Depression in the Child Psychiatry Division and the Clinical and Research Program in Pediatric Psychopharmacology and Adult ADHD at MGH. Dr. Uchida is a dedicated clinician to both children and adults, and a committed researcher. Her research career has focused on the characteristics, longitudinal course and treatment of unipolar depression and bipolar pediatric mood disorders. In collaboration with Dr. John Gabrieli at MIT and Dr. Joseph Biederman at MGH, she has published on the functional and structural MRI based biomarkers of the risk for development of major depression and received the First Prize Department of Psychiatry Award of MGH as well as the Dupont Warren Fellowship, Livingston Award, Pilot and Feasibility Award form MassGeneral for Children, and Milton Award from Harvard Medical School for her works on this topic. In addition, Dr. Uchida is a committed advocate for mental health. She has articulated her thoughts in a number of international publications, including the International Herald Tribune, the Boston Globe, ABC.com and Asahi Shimbun, on topics ranging from suicide prevention and informed consent in pediatrics to her experience of being a Japanese female physician in America. She has garnered praise for her work in sharing her experience as a parent in discussing about difficult issues such as racism, gender inequality and emotional regulation, as well as her interviews of real people with real emotional struggles.
