Current clinical specializations include psychiatric consults for individuals in the emergency department and inpatient hospital services. Nikogosyan provides outpatient neuropsychiatric care for individuals with various neurological disorders with a particular emphasis on epilepsy and movement disorders. Furthermore, he has expertise in peri-surgical and critical care psychiatry performing presurgical assessments for kidney transplant and functional neurosurgery services. Coming from an Armenian upbringing, he holds a particular interest in Armenian cultural psychiatry and mental health. He serves on government taskforces for guidelines and volunteers as an elected board member of the non-profit Alzheimer’s Care Armenia. |
