Dr. Lucia Cheng
Dr. Lucia Cheng is a practicing Telepsychiatrist with her own private practice, specializing in Reproductive / Peripartum Psychiatry. Dr. Cheng has been doing telepsychiatry for almost a decade, and loves using this modality to provide care for her patients. She is passionate about utilizing technological innovations to further the practice of psychiatry and to expand access to psychiatric care to patients.
Jim Heneghan, MD
Dr. Jim Heneghan is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in private practice. Dr. Heneghan has been practicing telepsychiatry for about 15 years throughout rural New Mexico. He is also the President of Western Psychiatric Associates, which contracts Telepsych services in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Montana. Dr Heneghan is also the owner of EMRBear LLC which has developed their own Electronic Health Records platform, specifically for Community Mental Health Centers, large group practices and residential treatment centers.
Dr. Lucia Cheng
Ximena Sanchez-Samper, MD, is a board-certified addictions psychiatrist. She trained at the Mayo Clinic and completed an addictions fellowship through the combined MGH-McLean Hospital Addictions Fellowship. Dr. Sanchez-Samper has worked with adolescents, young adults, and adults with substance use disorders at Boston Children’s Hospital and McLean Hospital, where she previously served as medical director for The Brook Residence and the 3East Mill Street Residence.
Dr. Sanchez-Samper’s clinical interests include incorporating medication-assisted treatment (MAT) into the care of patients struggling with addiction. Her published work includes a chapter on adolescent opioid use in the Handbook of Office-Based Buprenorphine Treatment of Opioid Dependence, as well as a peer-reviewed article on adolescent substance use disorders in Pediatrics in Review. Dr. Sanchez-Samper is an instructor in psychiatry, part-time, at Harvard Medical School, and lectures throughout the country on the identification, diagnosis, and treatment of substance use disorders.
