Dr. Jonathan P. Heldt is a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where he also serves as Program Director of the Psychiatry Residency Training Program. A specialist in the treatment of mood disorders, Dr. Heldt’s clinical work focuses on managing treatment-resistant depression through innovative approaches, including pharmacologic strategies and system-based interventions. As a psychiatric hospitalist at UCLA’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, he has led efforts to improve clinical care and monitoring for patients with complex mood disorders. Dr. Heldt is also an accomplished educator and informaticist, integrating digital solutions into psychiatric practice to enhance outcomes for individuals with depression and bipolar disorder. He is the author of Memorable Psychopharmacology and Memorable Psychiatry, widely used by trainees and clinicians nationwide. |
