7 Reasons to Attend the 2010
Child & Adolescent
Master Psychopharmacology Course

Dear Colleague,

I would like to share with you seven reasons to attend The 2010 Child & Adolescent Master Psychopharmacology Course in San Francisco, September 12-14, 2010.

Reason #1: World-Renowned Faculty Act as
Your Master Consultants

We’ve recruited the top experts in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry today to provide you with the most practical and up-to-date medical knowledge possible. This faculty (including Drs. Kiki Chang, Richard Rubin, Benedetto Vitiello, Anotonio Hardan and others) will be speaking bias-free, as the 2010 Child & Adolescent Master Psychopharmacology Course by policy refuses pharma sponsorship.

We’ve brought together these world-renowned faculty members for one reason only: to act as your Master Consultants. They will be available to answer your specific questions and provide youwith the most practical, immediately actionable prescribing guidance possible.

To meet this objective, your time with each expert is broken down into three highly-focused segments:

  • 1. Lecture Component: Each faculty member presents high-yield and up-to-date information on their respective topic. These lectures concentrate on the most current treatment algorithms, standard-of-care assessments and detailed advice for prescribing individual medications.
  • 2. Case Vignette Component: In order to put the information into actionable form, each faculty member will present a series of complex case vignettes and lead you and the rest of the audience to a resolution of the challenges that each of these cases present.
  • 3. Extensive Q&A Session: Each of our faculty members is truly an expert in their field. This is your opportunity to pick their brain - they literally become your master consultant. So please be ready to ask your tough questions and get practical "down-in-the-trenches" actionable answers.

Reason #2: Free Bonus Lecture: Legal Armor: How to Avoid Medical Malpractice Hell

Did you know that when you treat a patient who is a minor, a child's medical malpractice claim does not have to be filed in many states until two years after the child's 18th birthday? That means the uncertainty of a lawsuit can hang over you for years or decades into the future with each patient you treat.

Now I am giving you a way to protect yourself and to live with a much higher level of security and comfort. We have retained Mr. William Stilling, JD, an experienced medical malpractice defense attorney to come to tell you how to protect yourself - and to stop doing some things that may be placing you at risk whether or not you realize that they're risky and avoidable! His three-hour presentation will allow plenty of time to present a detailed "how-to" lecture as well as to address your questions regarding any type of medical-legal concern you may have.

In my opinion, this presentation is so crucial to your career success that it's worth the entire cost of attending the 2010 Child & Adolescent Master Psychopharmacology Course. Don't believe me? Just think how one small tip from this accomplished attorney - out of the many you'll learn - could possibly save you from a painful confrontation with the legal system.

Reason #3 : Earn Up To 17 hours of AMA / PRA CME Credit

Your CME's are included in the tuition of the 2010 Child & Adolescent Master Psychopharmacology Course. Nothing additional to buy! Note that many employers, group practices and training programs will reimburse you for the costs of a Cat 1 CME activity. If you're not sure if yours does, it's worth finding out. And also check if you have any remaining 2010 educational funds left.

Reason #4: Receive a Diploma

With your attendance, you will receive a Diploma signifying your successful completion of the 2010 Child & Adolescent Master Psychopharmacology Course. Hanging on your office wall, it will be an effective communication tool, letting your patients know that you are a clinician who takes your education seriously. It lets people know that you are up-to-date with the new developments in your field.

Reason #5: The 100 + 100 Guarantee!

I am so confident that you will find The 2010 Child & Adolescent Master Psychopharmacology Course beneficial, that if in your judgment you do not, simply tell us by the end of the course and you will receive 100% of your tuition plus an additional $100. No questions asked and no hard feelings!

Frankly, I think you will love this course and I want you to join us. That's why I'm willing to take the risk upon myself. Does that sound fair to you?

Reason #6: Save $400 When You Register!

If you register by August 31, 2010, the tuition for this 3-day intensive course is only $695, a $400 dollar discount from the full tuition of $1095. Of course, since this course is limited to 150 participants, I expect it to sell out many weeks prior to the end of the discounted tuition. .

So, if you’re tempted to wait until later to register, please reconsider. The number of seats is limited and this is a great course, in a great location, for a great tuition. And the extra special bonus presentation, Legal Armor: Protect Yourself From Medical Malpractice Hell, is included for no additional cost! I fully expect this course to sell out early, just as our Adult MPP course (held in March 2010) did.

So when you’re done reading this, click on the register now button below and be done registering in about 90 seconds. Then you can rest assured you have your spot saved for you.

Reason #7: San Francisco Is Simply
Beautiful in September!!

Although a lot of learning will take place at The 2010 Child & Adolescent Master Psychopharmacology Course, it is also a well-deserved opportunity to take in the sights of San Francisco. If you've never been there, then this is a great opportunity to acquaint yourself with this most interesting of the cities in the USA. And if you’ve been to SF before, then you know what a great destination it is. Remember that Tony Bennett song? Why not come join us and you too can leave your heart in San Francisco!

Since we designed the course to give you plenty of time for sightseeing and relaxing, come alone or with your significant other – this is a city for romance, after all. Any way you come, you’ll have a great time.

Take care and see you in San Francisco!

Sincerely,

Jack Krasuski, MD

Executive Director & Chief Medical Editor

Testimonials

Over more than 20 years of practice, I have attended many psychopharmacology courses (including Stqahl’s Baldessarini’s, Yale CME, US Psychiatric Congresses and more). The Master Psychopharmacology course was one of the very best I have ever experienced. Thank you.
Sharon Drakos, MD
Branford, CT

Dr. Krasuski’s courses have made me a better person and psychiatrist. Imagine the perfect CME Course full of Practical Clinical Pearls in many areas (Psychopharmacology, drug interactions, real time review, categories with practical treatment tools, drugs to use and avoid--especially in tough treatment areas, pregnancy, legal risk, metabolic syndrome, multisubstance reference, etc). Well done! Dr. K’s courses are never a waste of time, but a streamlined time saver!
Elizabeth Stuller, MD
Baltimore, MA

This is a very complete course. It has increased my clinical confidence. I feel like a more complete psychiatrist.
Naveer Thomas, MD

Great opportunity to review core Psychopharmacology and get updates on current literature. The opportunity to talk with people who are experts with a lot of experience in their field was invaluable! The staff was courteous and friendly as well.
Joshua Morganstein, MD
Silver Spring, MD

It was a breath of fresh air to attend a Psychopharmacology Conference without any pharmaceutical sponsorship. I didn’t need to worry whether the speaker would “downplay” the side effects of the medications that were discussed. It was also pleasing to hear about treatments whose patents expired long ago.
Angelo Ferraro, MD
Melbourne, Australia

These courses are great. They provide a comprehensive review and keep you on the “cutting edge” of the research and clinical practices in our field. I was most impressed with the lectures on Sleep Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, and Adult ADHD--very difficult disorders to accurately diagnose and adequately treat. Very practical and clinically relevant information.
